Matthew Peltier

Matthew Peltier holds a B.A. in History with a minor in Philosophy and an M.A. in Education, Curriculum and Instruction.

He has spent nearly a decade working in the public school system in Massachusetts at the secondary level, teaching History and English to middle and high school students. Currently, he teaches 5th grade in Lowell Public Schools, is a member of his school’s leadership team, and has actively participated in the interviewing and hiring process for new teachers.

His experience working with students of different ages, in addition to performing various school roles over his career, has provided him with a thorough understanding of the day to day operations of a school along with a wide range of knowledge about curricula and pedagogies.

Matthew’s passion for learning and teaching drives his desire to help children grow in knowledge and faith. Equally as important as helping students learn and master their academics, Matthew believes that a quality education and school, like St. Kosmas Academy, is one that fosters a love of God, truth, wisdom, and virtue.
