Annalisa Dunning is grateful to be gaining a re-education for herself as she directs the education of her six homeschooled children, informed by Charlotte Mason and the Classical tradition. With experience in cooperative learning environments as well as flying solo, with preschoolers through teenagers, she enjoys reading excellent books, asking questions, and leading her students to wonder about the natural world, the nature of a person, the beauty of numbers, and the mystery of our great and humble God.
A graduate of the Wheaton College Conservatory of Music with a B.M. in voice and history, she loves to sing with people of all ages and takes great pleasure in the power of participatory music and dance to teach us to modulate ourselves to harmonize with others. Tempted by all the ways a mom can worry in the 21st Century, she struggles to keep at the center of her teaching our Lord’s promises and to seek first His Kingdom. She hopes to see a vibrant Orthodox Christian Classical School flourish in central Massachusetts.
