Alexandra Gonzalez is a lifelong learner whose dedication to classical education began
at home. She and her husband, Roberto, have three children, whom Alexandra
homeschooled from kindergarten through high school.

In 2016, Alexandra founded the Classical Co-op, bringing together fourteen families
committed to the pursuit of truth, beauty, and goodness. Two years later, she
established the St. John Chrysostom House of Humanities for high school students,
where she continues to teach and mentor students in philosophy, literature, history, and
persuasive essay writing.

Alexandra’s love of the classics and the arts remain central to her classroom. Each
year, she inspires her students by producing a performance of a Shakespearian
masterpiece, immersing her students in great literature through both study and
performance.

Alexandra holds a B.A. in International Management with a minor in Spanish. In 2022,
she earned the distinction of CiRCE Master Classical Educator upon graduation from
the CiRCE Institute, the leading provider of inspiration, information, and insight to
classical educators throughout the U.S. and Canada. She is a passionate advocate for
the benefits of classical education and its ability to cultivate wisdom and virtue. By
integrating Orthodox Christianity into her curriculum, Alexandra helps students deepen
their faith and gain a greater appreciation for the ancient Christians who shaped our
tradition and culture.

Alexandra is deeply committed to the founding mission of Saint Kosmas Academy.
Inspired by Saint Kosmas, she understands that while families no longer live under the
Ottoman yoke, they still face serious challenges. Through her work, she helps students
grow in truth, goodness, and beauty, giving them the knowledge, discernment, and
moral foundation to navigate the world with confidence.
