Alexandra Gonzalez is a lifelong learner. She and her husband, Roberto, have three
children whom Alexandra homeschooled from kindergarten through High School. Her
dedication to classical education grew from there. In 2016, she founded the Classical
Co-op, which brought together 14 families committed to teaching truth, beauty, and
goodness. Two years later, she established the St. John Chrysostom House of
Humanities for High School, where she currently guides students in philosophy,
literature, history, and persuasive essay writing.
Alexandra holds a B.A. in International Management with a minor in Spanish. In 2022,
she graduated from the CiRCE Institute, earning the distinction of CiRCE Master
Classical Educator. She is a passionate advocate for the freedom to educate children at
home, in homeschool co-ops, and in private schools. As she incorporates Orthodox
Christianity into her curriculum, Alexandra strives to help students cultivate a deep
appreciation for their faith and the ancient Christians who shaped our tradition.
Alexandra is a strong supporter of the founding of St. Kosmas Academy. Inspired by the
example of St. Kosmas, Alexandra recognizes that while we may not live under the
Ottoman yoke, modern families face significant pressure to send their children to
schools where young minds may encounter ideas contrary to Christian teaching.
Through her work, she seeks to equip students with the knowledge, discernment, and
moral grounding to navigate the world and its challenges with confidence.
